THE IDORU

Mit vártok - mint zenekar - a 2013. évtől, mi a legfőbb nyilvánosan is elmondható tervetek erre az évre? [What do you expect from the year of 2013 as a band, what is your main public plan for this year?]

Hááát /háttal nem kezdünk mondatot.../, igazából nincsenek nagyszabású terveink. Kicsit megszusszanunk most, hiszen a napokban lett vége az Idoru-Subscribe-Leander-Insane 14 állomásos országjáró turnénak. De tény ami tény: 'Hamáá másodszorra is kiosztották nekünk a Fonogram díjat, felbátorodván, kicsit többet ráköltve, új számokkal megtoldva az ominózus „Time” lemezt, + digipakkos borító persze... kihoztuk a „Time Special Edition”-re keresztelt legújabb Idoru korongot. Vele és 1 vadiúj klippel berobbantunk a 2013-as modern rock élet alvó köztudatába, megtörvén a hideg-szürke-januári havas félhomályt!

[Well /and here comes a Hungarian word joke… try to translate The Idoru better if you can… ha-ha :D - cmfh/, so, we have no really great plans. We have a slack now, cos The Idoru – Subscribe – Leander – Insane 14-stage cross-country tour just ended in these days. But the fact is: once the Fonogram Award was given to us the second time, we took courage, and spending a little more, adding new songs to the ominous „Time” album + digipack cover of course... we brought out the so called "Time Special Edition" brand new Idoru album. With that and with a brand new music video we blasted into the modern rock life’s sleeping public awareness of 2013 breaking the cold-gray-snowy gloom of January! It’s cool and etc., we love this song-set and the video, but let the expectations pass... Okay, well let the false modesty too: from now our desires are more twats, more money and beside free beer, eternal life! Seriously... We do this band because we love it! This is the main motivating force. If I should name one goal, then this is it. Love it as long as possible!]

Milyen szempont(ok) alapján dől(t) el nálatok, hogy a dalok milyen nyelven/nyelveken születnek, és mi a véleményetek általában a magyar vs. angol dalszöveg kérdésköréről? [What criteria do you keep in mind when you decide about the songs’ language / languages, and what do you think in general about the topic of Hungarian vs. English lyrics?]

THIS IS HUNGARY!
Ez mindent elmond. Itt nem a nyelvtudással kérkednek az utcákon... Mi így is, úgy is toljuk. Akik angolul énekelnek, titkon vagy nem titkon ott ég bennük a vágy a külföldi sikerekre. Ahogy bennünk is.
THIS IS IT!

[This is an persistent dispute in the Hungarian „modern-metal-hc-punk-rock” era! Singing in both languages can be supported by arguments, but it's really unnecessary, people should just open their eyes.
THIS IS HUNGARY!
That says it all. People do not boast with their language knowledge in the streets ... We do it either way. Those who sing in English, secretly or not secretly have the desire for success abroad. It is the same in case of us. But we're not blind and naive. After so many years especially not, even more The Idoru had many foreign gigs. Anyway it seems that people in Hungary prefer singing the songs in Hungarian. Mostly these songs can be understood by them.
THIS IS IT!
If we want to put logic behind the choice of language, then we would say, we write the simpler songs with Hungarian lyrics. Even 1-2 more ones will fit into our career! :)))]

[If you could decide about it, who would be the only artist of the world to produce a feat. song with?]

Madonnát 'azé megnéznénk hogy lötyögteti a gyorsra...
Vagy esetleg Elvis láb-csípőmunkáját!

[We would see Madonna wobbling to the fast…
Or maybe Elvis’ hip-leg work!]

STUBBORN

Mit vártok - mint zenekar - a 2013. évtől, mi a legfőbb nyilvánosan is elmondható tervetek erre az évre? [What do you expect from the year of 2013 as a band, what is your main public plan for this year?]

[We hope that 2013 will be just as productive for us as 2012, because we think we had a successful year. It’s absolutely no secret that we are working hard on our first LP, and certainly that's what we can call as the main goal for 2013. In addition, we would like to participate in more and more concerts, tours.]

[There is nothing wrong with the Hungarian lyrics because it is a beautiful language, for example in case of our first EP, we added Hungarian herd-vocal into the English lyrics. And it can probably happen again. We believe that the intention and the message of the lyrics are very important, and we would like this to be able to reach more and more people outside our country too.]

[Máté, our drummer certainly with Beyoncé, but if Freddie Mercury could be resurrected, we would vote for him.]

THE HEARTLESS AISHA

Mit vártok - mint zenekar - a 2013. évtől, mi a legfőbb nyilvánosan is elmondható tervetek erre az évre? [What do you expect from the year of 2013 as a band, what is your main public plan for this year?]

[2013 will be one of the most important years for us, because in 2012 we just tried to lay the foundations of our band. In the first half of 2013 we will give out our first EP called „Confused”! This EP will contain 5 tracks. The song „Finding Myself” off the EP accompanied by a music video has already been released and we would like to produce one more video for a new song. Of course, many concerts are planned for this year, we hope we can organize them with success.]

Nyilván stílusfüggő is a dolog.

[It does not matter in which language the songs are born! Just to be loved. Many people say that the songs are in English because the band "travels" to abroad. This is nonsense. There are Hungarian "languaged" bands that participate in foreign tours with great success, such as Hanoi. Obviously, it depends on the music genre as well. It is easier for us to write lyrics in English and we think in this genre it is easier to interpret.]

[If you could decide about it, who would be the only artist of the world to produce a feat. song with?]

Erre közösen nehéz válaszolni. Minden tagnak van szent és sérthetetlen kedvence. Talán akik minden tagnál a „kedvencek” kategóriába tartozik az a Deaf Havana.

[This is difficult to answer together. Every band members have got a "sacred and inviolable" favorite. Maybe Deaf Havana is in the "fav" category of each member.]
